I owned the 4PL as well and broke the one of the steering stops within days. I purchased the 4pk a few months ago and love it. The 4pl is a good radio at the price point, but the casing is rather brittle and cheap. I say if you have an extra $200 laying around get the 4pks, if not you will really like the 4pl. My friend has the 4pl, and reinforced the steering stops with epoxy, and has zero issues.
