Tekin 55t comp crawler problem
 

I have a tekin brushed 55t motor that has lost power going foward, reverse is strong still. I recalibrated the mmp and changed the settings with the castle link from crawler to 100% brake with no results.

Do the brushes need replaced or what can I do? I have a very depressed 10y/o boy on my hands here....lol

I looked all over the tekin site for new brushes with no luck, any ideas would be great, thanks in advance

Have you retarded (negative) the timing on the motor? Any brushed motor that is required to run both forwards and reverse must run 0 degrees timing. If the brushes were gone, it would run poor in either direction.

I have not messed with the timing on the motor, I will check the speed control. Thanks

I checked everything on the link, I changed it back over to crawler and right now it seems to be better. I don't know what's going on but I'll run it till it starts doing it again....thanks
