Default Spectrum SR3520 Losi 22T

I just picked up a lightly used 22T to get back into RC

I'm a Futaba guy - still using my old 75mhz stuff and my jrxt's

So 22t has the tiny spectrum dsm2 SR3520 reciever and JR Z91000s servo.
Orion 8.5T Vortex VST Pro
Orion Vortex R10 Speed Control

Servo is nice and I want to use it to its potential - 6volts plus

Im really have a tough time picking a transmitter. I figured I was going to buy a futaba set up 3PL or 3PM-X. Then just sell off the SR3520.

Or should I buy a DX2S that will work with the SR3520 even thou its doesn't support the high speed - Seems like only the DX3R suppports the high speed.
I dont want to drop that much money on a DX3R- The DX2S seems like a good deal with built in telemetry for 160.00 and I figure I could get 50 for the SR3520.

Last question is the Futaba radio all seem to have ABS but not telemetry.
does the abs work with electrics? I read that it pulses the brake servo on nitros. or should I just be adjust the braking strength for my elec.

To answer your last question is that ABS works on electrics the same as nitros, it pumps the brakes to prevent lockup by pulsing the ESC. Be aware that your stopping distances will increase.

As for the radio, sell the 3520 ($50 is about right) and buy the radio you want.

thats what I was leaning towards - its a toss up abs from futaba - 3pm-x
or telemetry from the dx2s or dx3s. Probably going with the spektrum just because the screen is so easy to navigate- I was watching a review on you tube and it seems more than enough for now. The 3pm-x does have the speed thou!
