New to RC electronics need help
 

I recently purchased a traxxas 4 channle micro reciever and a traxxas tq am radio.

Do I need to bind my reciever to the transmitter or do the crystals do that for me?

Also how do I plug my esc and servo into the reciever?
The receiver has slots:
Ch.1
Ch.1
Ch.2
Ch.3
Ch.4
Ch.5/ batt
Why is there two channel ones? And into which channel do I plug the esc and servo into?
The esc is a teken rx

That receiver wont work with the am radio. You need the TQi radio for that. The reason for two ch1s is to run dual steering servos. Ch1 is always steering. ch2 is throttle.

Ok sorry misunderstood you. yes they should sync up fine. no need to bind.
