Default Deans vs other connectors

Hi guys
I am pretty new to the game, so excuse my ignorance.
I am busy putting a 150 xerun on my 8eight e 2.0 and I am wondering what connectors to use to the battery and also to the motor?
In browsing through the galleries i see some guys are using deans and some guys are using bullet type connectors.
Does anyone have an opinion about this or any suggestions?

I like Deans connectors. Once soldered properly, there's no chance of reversing polarity like you can with bullet connectors. Only drawback is that they're easy to solder incorrectly. It's best to watch a few vids on youtube to learn how to solder them.

Hmmm I'd use EC5 connectors for 1/8 e-buggy, as they can handle much more than deans. The drawback is they are a bit bigger.

Depending on the size of the connectors bullets fit more batteries. Deans are a little less common, though if you live in the US availability should be no problem.

I use 4mm bullets in my 22 and genuine Traxxas connectors in my 8ight
