Thunder ac6 issues
 

Hey everyone, I have had my thunder ac6 for a while now. I have always used it with my gens ace 5000mah 40c 2s lipos. It worked fine until about 3 weeks ago it started timing out (120min) before it finished balancing. I balance charge every time. If I start over after the timer stops it, it will still take quite a while to balance. But I can use a friends charger and it will charge and ballance both of my packs without an issue in under an hour. Both chargers were set to 5 amps output. There is a simular thread on urc as well. But nobody has come up with a solution yet.

For starters you dont need to balance charge everytime. Once the cells are balanced they will stay balanced for many chargers. I would say about every 20 charges they need to be balanced but I find there are still balanced after that. Just set the charger to fast charge 5 amps and it will def charge in 120 min or less. I have the ac6 and its been a good budget charger for my 2s and 4s packs.
