Steering servo not return to center postion.
Hi to all, i am facing a problem whereby my steering servo does not return to center position when steering remote turn to left and right while the car in a stationary with a Hudy set up gauge. Servo still in a new condition. I am using a KO Propo Helious and the servo is Savox HV. How can i remedy this problem cause i am running 1/8 on road car. Need assistance...anyone?

Disconnect the steering linkage and just leave the horn on the servo and try it. If it centers like that, you have binding in your steering system. If it does not center even with no load on it, I would say you have a bad servo.

Hmmm, 1/8 on-road car = high speed and big crash damage.
If the Servo isn't brand spanking new and installed for the very first time and didn't see any track time then I would suspect a stripped idler gear in the servo. First do as suggested and check to see if there is any binding in the steering. |
