Simple Question esc to motor

I am new so i learning here, can i use my venom esc 80a with a castle 3800kv motor, my castle esc burnt up so untill i have a replacement i have the venom spare.

No reason why not if it will run a sensorless motor

Be careful with the amp draw, 80 is borderline with that motor

ok thanks, i have the venom motor but i have seen alot about how bad they are.
