Revtech rotor question

I have a revtech 17.5 I had bought what I thought was a ht 12.5 rotor as the guy described .when I had got the rotor I seen it was black with a red top when I looked it up on trinity site it states broad band rotor that's states comes in motors .will this hurt my 17.5 or will it be ok also what difference will I see with it if it does work over the ht 12.5 .here are some pic .will be in a blinky sc10

I ran revtech motors for about a year with 12.5 broad-band in 17.5 blinky in and it was one of the fastest stock motors I have ever run. Not sure what size of track you run on, but the broad-band could be better on a large track as the hi-torque rotors don't typically turn as many rpm's.

It wont hurt your motor to run it. I run the TEP1112 (blue) rotor, and it makes a noticible diffrence between the stock 12.3 rotors. Its kind of weird they gave you a mod motor rotor, vs the spec 12.5 (TEP1112) rotor for a 17.5 though.
