Best servo for 1/10

I been out of the hobby for 8-9yrs and everything has came along way. I was wondering whats the best servo to put in my B4.1 WE.

For outright best, it's hard to beat the Futaba BLS series. They'll last damn near forever, are smooth as butter and because they respond to signal input so fast, you can more or less disregard their actual speed specs and know that they'll be faster than you may even want when in the car. I've ran a BLS451 in a buggy, stadium truck and SC truck and it's been the best servo I've ever owned in all of those applications.

If you're on a budget, the Savox line offers good value for the money these days.

Unless you like your car to make a buzzing noise constantly and enjoy changing broken servos often, stay away from Chinese un-brands with too-good to be true specs and way too good to be truly quality pricing that are usually sold on either Ebay or websites with grammar than should, by itself, tip you off.

I also vote for Futaba BLS-451. Smooth, quiet, solid real world in car response and torque. Have ran 3 for several years, still virtually slop free. Seen them win plenty of big races including ROAR nats. Doesn’t cause power issues. Great servo IMO.

Tried a version of the servo that seems to be the most recommended in these type of threads lately for my Son. Noisy and not smooth, despite better ratings it didn’t seem a bit better in car, and we both love fast servos. Since pulled it out and went back to the proven BLS.

Can't go wrong with RadioPost servos. Very smooth and fast.

Good for the price but may require you to run a power cap on your receiver or in extreme cases, an external bec as Savox's stuff can sometimes cause brownouts due to their high power consumption but other than that, if I was going to buy anything less than a Futaba, I'd probably buy Savox.
