choosing a plug type

in my day, deans ultra was well, ultra. I am building a vta car and the novak esc came with a traxxas? plug, its black. bullet connectors came on the battery and i have not gotten the charger yet but its bullet too.

Should i switch out to deans or run the connector type that came on the esc?
tried to search, got nothing.

Most connectors are decent for what you plan to use. (Except Tamiya).

Deans are the most popular and when at the track you will be most likely to be able to borrow a pack from someone else who uses Deans and vica versa.
