If you are running 17.5 Blinky try setup the ESC with 100% throttle on the radio and turn up the thorrle to 120% after.
PWM set at 8K Ver.3.0
Punch start with 8 and add more if needed.

Could some one forward me the V3.3 Software for my VX ESC? My local distributor isn't helpful in releasing this software at this time. My email is [email protected].

Thanks a bunch !

if there is a fade 1/2 through, i'd recommend checking your motor or batteries. overheat could also be signs of a different problem. check your belts (who uses those? j/k) and axle bearings.

smart man -- but i'm a bit biased

make sure you got a motor fan blowing strong. this is even more important on the awesomatix longitudinal motor design as the motor doesn't get much air contact.

i don't run a speedo fan in 13.5 or 17.5. i do run either the stock fan, or the WTF 25mm fan for modified.

setups 'will' go here, but there are none yet. once i'm done freshing my car for carpet i'll download my stock setups. http://racerlog.com/wiki/ORCA_ESC_Setups

i just added everything i know about boosted / modified setups with the ORCA VX speedos. i've included some useful info from Ian Hardman -- it was very useful to help me figure out what was wrong/right with my setup(s). also, making 'binary' changes -- maxing a value and then minimizing a value helped me understand what many of these changes did.

stock settings later in the week.

How have the TX motors been handling in 12th scale blinky? looking to upgrade my 12th scale for WCICS this year and shopping for a motor. ill be running a VX1 esc in this car. for 17.5 boost, i was running a high rpm rotor in a reedy, is something similar available, or desireable for blinky?

probably not.... we don't run 'stock' boosted around here. i'd really recommend you play around, and learn the speedo settings yourself.
have you tried Andrew's mod setup?

Luckily Keith has lots of Experience with 17.5 boosted, all last year one of the local clubs ran it, the straight wasn't 50meters but I'm sure u will get in the ballpark, I have my setup written down somewhere might take me a little but to find it tho.
