Castle Warranty Question

Castle Warranty Question
Ok, I have an MMP that's dead. The ESC is still under warranty. I had to cut off the power switch and solder wires b/c the switch was turning off during races. My main question is will they honor the warranty if the switch is not sent in? I can't seem to locate it and I am wondering if that will be an issue. The soldered wires are not the cause of the dead ESC.
My other question was whether or not you could remove the plug adapter for the battery(deans p,uh in my case). Another member on here was kind enough to respond to my pm and told me I could remove the deans before mailing out and there would not be an issue.
Thanks in advance for any help/info anyone can give.

Cutting the switch doesn't void the warranty.

Cutting the switch does not void. Also yes cut the deans off, or desolder. Be prepaired to wait a month or two for a returned MMP.

Got my answer, thanks!
Thanks to all of you for your responses. Your time is much appreciated. I also got an email from Castle (today) that said the following (backs up all the other comments above of course!):
You can take the deans plug off before you send this in to our repair
department. As long as you did not solder on the control board this will
still be covered under warranty.
Thanks again to all who responded!
