Hitec x4

Hello
I was hoping some could clear up a question about charging a 4s lipo with one of these.
My charger went out today at the track and another racer with a Hitec X4 helped me out. I could of sworn he charged it at 6 amps. I was wanting to buy one of these X4’s but I read on the specs that is was 50 watts per channel. That would be in the 3 amp ball park for a 4s lipo. Can this charger share the 200 watts or is it isolated at 50 per output?
Thanks in advance

It's 4 separate 50W chargers. no sharing

Yep, 4 50w channels.

I have the x4 eighty and it will charge at 6amps. I have had it for a little over a month and its probably one of the best RC investments I have ever made. I use it to charge 4s batteries quite a bit and it charges them pretty quick. I can't remember the exact amps it will charge at but its way faster than my single 50w charger. Only downside is the x4 eighty is DC only so you have to have a separate power supply, but I was kind of sketchy about one with a built in power supply anyway. I use a 30amp rivergate with it and the fan never even kicks on on it while charging (2) 2s and (2) 4s lipos at max amps at the same time.

Thanks for the help guys
Bottom line is that 50 watts will get you around 3 amps charging a 4s lipo. I am interested in the x4 eighty. I have read good things about it but I also read its made from the same Chinese company that makes the Hobby king multi port charger just a different sticker. I wonder if this is true because the hobby king is cheaper.
Thanks again

I went through the same dilemma as you and ultimately went with the hitec cause it had better reviews and I figured if something did go wrong with it, it would be a lot easier to get it resolved. Sometimes it's not only the product itself you are paying for its the customer service also.
