Pyramid Power Supply

Wondering if anyone uses a Pyramid PSV300 Heavy-Duty 30 Ampere Switching Power Supply?

amazon.com/Pyramid-PSV300-Heavy-Duty-Ampere-Switching/dp/tech-data/B000NPT4TK/ref=de_a_smtd

Sorry can't add URL's yet - Newbie

It is on sale and wondering if it would be a good supply compared to G350 and the like.

I had a Pyramid in the 90's. It should work. Like you, I would like to hear if anyone has tried ons.

I have a 10amp Pyramid. However, now I'm switching to an HP server power supply. Out of the box it's 12.5 volts and 47 amps. And I only paid $23 to my door.
Get a DPS-600pb off of eBay and hook it up like in the thread below.

I'm going to throw another vote in for the server power supply.

For $20, shipped, you can get the HP DL580 G4 (1000w) Power Supply. HP Part Number 406421-001. Example eBay Link: HERE

And that's how you convert it to RC use.

I really would like to know how many are using modified server PS? I do not know I have seen anyone bring them to the track but dont really look for it either,

I'm a glutton, so just picked up two of those for $32 shipped. They're *only* rated 910w at 110v AC input.
