Lipos
 

I bought some used rev tech 7.4v lipos and they have puffing.I have heard this is bad,is it safe to still use these or should I discard them. How much puffing is ok if any?

My advice don't buy used batteries you don't know how they have been treated put them in a lipo bag in a concrete room away from anything (basement garage) then look at them in a few days if they're still puffed don't use them if they aren't puffed well I don't know I don't run lipo LOL but I have heard this meathod

They were part of a great combo deal,I heard some batteries puff slightly,they only appear to be puffed on top and bottom.

It seems all they soft case lipos I ever had puffed slightly. I still ran them. I still have a hardcase turnigy lipo I've been running about a year that has puffed too, just enough to not sit perfectly flat. I just keep an eye on them.
