Good 17.5T Brushless motors?
Im new to this brushless thing. Im getting back into RC and considering the 17.5T. What are some good brushless motors to consider. Are they still the same trusted names from the brushed days? Some new names out there now and I dont know whose good anymore. Things have changed..... a lot.

Look for the Novak Ballistic, Reedy Sonic, LRP, or Speedpassion. They are all excellent motors, and you can never go wronge with a name brand motor.

I have summed it up like the following.
Pure Speed and Punch, I swear by the DUO 3 Trinity / Fantom etc
For great Speed and cooling run temps, Speed Passion is awesome.
As with the DUO their comes a rice with that power, you are constantly temping and worrying about the motor.
Also tested the new d3.5 17.5 last night and very impressed with the punch.

Yeah I thought about Reedy. What abou team orion? They still putting out good motors?
Speedpassion is a new one to me. Ill have to look more into them. Are they bang for the buck? Im just getting into BL and lipo(very expensive) so not worried about mod class motors or adjustable advanced timing etc(yet). From what I read about brushless(if you like playing with timing) its better to adjust timing from the ESC than from the motor itself.

Revtech is an awesome motor I run it in all my cars. Tc, scte, and 2wd buggy and never had a problem.
I hear the NEW Duo d3.5 is the motor to have the fastest one out.

Im looking at stock motors. Ive been hearing boosted thrown around for a while now. Is that what they call mod motors now(for brushless)? Or is mod and boosted two different things in the BL world?
