Tekin rs pro issues
My rs pro has a dead spot in the acceleration. Its kinda hard to explain. When I turn on my tx and esc the lights come on the esc. I can sit my car down on the track and squeeze the throttle and the car won't got instantly. It takes a couple sec to go. Now while driving the car it is fine, but if I sit still for a sec, then try to launch the car it heistates(pauses) then launches.
I can run warm up laps then get ready to start a main and I have problems launching on the tone because of the slight pause. Any suggestions? I have reset it several times, so that's not the case. |
well first thing is try new sensor cable. If not, shorten neutral width through hotwire. If im not mistaken the factory throttle neutral setting is pretty wide.

Check your motor wire connections. Mine was doing this and the connections must have been slightly off. I resoldered them and it runs better then ever. Also look at your slipper, diff, and what is neutral width at?
|
Diff is a gear diff, no probs with it. The neutral with is set so if I touch the trigger there is no space in the trigger. I will try the sensor wire and see if that helps. Thanks

Your minimum throttle is set too low. This is how much power is initially sent to the motor. If the setting is to low the car will hesitate off the line. if its too high the car gets a little jumpy and its harder on your gears

What is the minimum throttle set at stock? I run 17.5 blinky. I have my throttle position set to 5 the most aggressive position. I never touched the minimum throttle.

I belive its set to 5 at stock. sometimes you need to add a little bit more depending on the motor, gearing, and your radio.
The sensor wire could still be the issue, but before I spent money on a sensor wire I would have somebody plug the ESC into a hotwire and click the minimum throttle up a few points and see if it fixes your problem if it is only doing it at takeoff from a dead stop |

But I have notice my car doesn't have the snappy acceleration like the other cars I see. It has tons of top end, but seems to be like a slipper clutch loose on bottom end(just a example). |
