Blinky balancer instead of charger balancer?

Hey guys, I am buying a charger that has the 5 white balance plugs on the side of it but I would rather use the AstroFlight Blinky balancer. Is it possible to use that charger with the Blinky Balancer? It's the Onyx 235. I just don't know how the charger will know then when to stop charging if the balancer isn't internal. Thanks for the help guys!

The charger will stop when it detects total voltage at 8.4. I have been using a blinky for a couple years just fine. You just dont get a readout of actual voltage. Make sure to get the right blinky. They make one for lipo and one for li-fe . Dont ask how i learned this. Also some chargers internal balancers operate at a different amp rate so they might balance faster than your blinky will.
