Need help binding M11 with Spektrum Mod

Ok so I cannot seem to figure out why my M11 with Spektrum Module will not bind to this sr3000 receiver I just got.

I hold the button down on the receiver and turn on the car, and I see the light start flashing but AS SOON as I let go of the button it stops blinking. (From what I have read it is supposed to stay blinking for at least 3 seconds to wait for me to get the radio into bind mode as well so then they can connect)

But I cannot get them to bind whatsoever for some reason. I just got the radio and receiver and believe that something is wrong with the receiver.

I know all the connections are right, and the M11 and spektrum module goes into bind mode like it should...

So what I am asking is my receiver bad or not?

hmmm it could well possibly be a bad one.

but before you take it back try this (i am owner of m11 spektrum pro module)

make sure your radio is off before placing the reciever in bind mode.

push the button in firm make sure it is still pressed when it gets turned on.
try two different things in the next step (trial and error) try pushing in the bind button and turn on your reciever until it blinks then let go straight away.
it should continue to blink.

however if not blinking then try again but this time try holding the bind button for longer before you let it go and see if it still blinks.

make sure you do all this with radio OFF.

then if you can manage to get it blinking (in bind mode) then bind in your transmitter by with the radio off press the bind button and turn on your transmitter then it should bind to the reciever will blink for a bit until bound then once bound lights on both rx and tx will remain aluminated continuously.

hope ya work it out if not take it back and get a replacement. or buy another one if it is an old one. or you could take off the screws and open the plastic reciever cover and blow out the dust put back together and try again.

sometimes rx's can have trouble when coated in dust. i usually put my rx's in a balloon in my car.

I think I normally put my M11 in bind mode and then do the reciver. Once you get it, your gonna love it!
