Converting an Xbox 360 power supply
 

Would it be possible to convert an Xbox 360 power supply for use on a charger? If so what would I need to do.

It would be possible, but it would be more costly and would not be as powerful as just buying a computer power supply. I even think there is a member here that converts server power supplies and sells them for $50. Your xbox psu will give you around 175 watts if I remember correctly. So I guess it would be fine for a couple lower end chargers.

I use an Xbox 360 power supply and have no problems running two Orion chargers off of it. I charge at 5 amps per charger and have had no problems in the last year doing this.

Looked into it some more and did it without a hitch. If anyone is looking at doing this, just a couple simple steps to get it going. Solder red and blue wires together. Solder all yellows together. Solder all blacks together. Solder black wire group to black banana plug or alligator clamp. Solder yellow wire group to red banana plug or alligator clamp. Enjoy the sleek 15A power supply for less than $15.
