I love my 4PKS, it's the best radio I've ever owned and I've had many... I was pretty happy with my 3PKS but when Futaba had the free RX promo I couldn't resist and gave the 3PKS to my son.

Having had a R1 you'll probably want the 4PKS over anything else available now, the R1 was one of the best TX you could buy back then.

The new top of the line KO looks interesting but I question the reliability with it's modular "quick change" design. Will those contacts prove to be reliable over time?

I use the 4PKS with every scale both on road and off road. It has every imaginable feature you could think of and then some. I can promise you won't have buyer's remorse after buying one....

Default spekrum dx2s dsm w/telemetry

i see people bashing spektrum, am looking to buy new radio and would like telemetry, i have a futaba magnum jr. from 1997 and still works great, but thats the only brand the hobby store carried at the time. is this spektrum not a good model? the reviews on amain are good for this system. just looking for some opinions. have around a $150 to $250 budget for radio.

4pk or 4PKS.

Spectrum is not bad, but I don't like the feel out of the box, steering wheel tension is too tight, throttle too loose, and that makes for a weird driving feel....(for me at least) Might be able to adjust the springs, but I've never owned one...so I don't know.

Plus, I have so many Futaba 2.4 Fasst equipment, none with any brownout problems.

I've driven using 4pks, M11x, DX3R, Flysky, and MT-4.

Best for me, by far, the Sanwa MT-4. And good thing is it is much cheaper than other brands. And at 460gms, very good for long races (a big factor).

Just an opinion.

I'm using the M11x and ko ex-10. Both are great radios, but i prefer the ex-10 for its feel and response.

4pks - Liked the feel in my hand, felt good, but not great.
4pl - Did not like the feel or look
3pks - Horribly balanced
M11x - felt great, but not well balanced
MT4 - felt great, loved the balance
RadioPost- Also felt great, but not sure about longevity since they're fairly new, and they look goofy as hell.
Spektrums- felt like garbage all around
FlySky- Felt pretty good, decent balance

Out of all of those the Airtronics and Radiopost units were at the top of my list. I weighed the pros and cons of each including price and the hands-down winner was the MT-4. I've since fitted it with a tennis raquet over-grip and adjusted all the settings to my liking and it feels like an extension of my body. Car does exactly what I want, when I want it to. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and as a bonus I got the deal with 2 telemetry receivers. I just don't think there is a better all-around radio on the market than the MT-4, at any price point.

Radiopost goofy it actually very well designed its super fast has all the selection plus some and it has a color screen. Its super comfortable actually sold my 4pk futaba for this unit I saw it at the track then i was sold. Customer service well best in the business

Like I said, the Radiopost models felt great, but the MT-4 felt better, and was less expensive. One thing I noticed, for me anyways, is once you get past the $200 price they all have more features than I will ever use. Fealt the MT-4 was/is the best bang for your buck, especially with an extra $100 receiver for free.

anyone not sponsored by radiopost have an opinion on radiopost radios??? I'm in the market for a new radio and my limited research has me guessing which one to go with. I had an m11x and really liked it, didn't love it. Definitely had great feel but it was big and a little heavy. I'm currently using my girlfriends DX3R with a crappy old rtr receiver. I like how lite that radio is but the feel isn't for me. So again, anyone unbiased feel like sharing their experience with the RadioPost radio?
