kv info

finding alot of choices on motor kv sizes.curious which one to get i'm aware higher # more rpm less torque. i got a 2300K thats great.making a brushless losi lst2.i see 1400-5050K wondering if i should stay around 2800 or is it better at 3200+??

You'll want a 1/8 Truggy motor in the 1800 or lower kV range.

Head over to the e truggy thread....You DO NOT NEED motor with less that 1800kv. Most run 2000kv-2200k which 2200kv would be the max I'd run. I've had a 2200kv Mamba Monster Setup, 2300kv HW setup and now I'm running a 1550kv Tekin T8 with HW Xerun 150a esc.
When you are running the lower kv motors you'll want to increase your voltage. Like say when I ran 2200kv mamba I ran a 4s pack and had plenty speed power and decent runtime now that I run 1550kv motor I use a 5s and two 6s packs, respectively, to get GREAT runtimes, excellent speed and power, and cool temps!

That you need less than 1800kv is nonsense though. It all depends on your ending goals. I've tried several different combinations. LMK what you want and I'll give you my suggestions.
No offense to the other guy that posted before me you're just giving him in correct information though.

Thanks for posting that but as Ty from Tekin told me that is only suggestions for a race set up. You can run a 2250kv truggy motor on 5-6s and be just fine. Me personally I run a 1550kv motor on 5s and 6s packs for the nearly the same speed with longer runtime.
