Default Cheap ESC for 13.5T no boost class & motor

I need a cheap but not totally of the pace ESC for 13.5T no boost class..

Was thinking about the Hobbywing below, is there any good alternatives?

http://www.rcmart.com/hobbywing-xeru...cPath=293_1021

Does the old hobbywing program card work with that one? http://www.nacrc.com/images/hobbyhac...ram-card-2.jpg

And what about motors? hopefully one that goes well with the reg you recommend.

Go with Speed Passion. Their esc's are on sale and you can get the GT2.1 for $89 with a program card. that 120a is overkill and would ship from oversea's.

well speed passion is hobbywing......They are the same esc but I wouldnt buy that 120a from overseas for that price when their are plenty more options in the us for better price..Dualsky, Brushlesshobbies sells a rebadged 120a and 60a hobbywing for around 58 for the 120a and 48 for the 60a i beleive.

I live in Norway hence the name MatsNorway

Dualsky is also a rebagded hobbywing right? i can take that.

I like that program card. I can`t be bothered with counting lights messing it up and restarting. I have a Novak GTB old type and i never bothered adjust it.
(i think its broken now)

Besides i hate having that separate lipo cut off. In addition to the capasitor.
So many wires..

I don't believe that dualsky is a rebadged hobbywing product...Also the link you posted is quite confusing as the title says 120a XERUN yet click on the picture and its a 1cell model...either way Its way overkill for a 1/10 2wd...

That program box will work for Brushless hobbies ESC, Bullistorm ESC, knockoff hobbywing and the real hobbywing ESC, HOWEVER...that program box is not the box you want if you want ALL the adjustments for your ESC, You will want the LCD box not the LED one..Down the road if you want to run boost that box will not help and will not store Different firmwares...

To the Last poster, If hobbypartz has the Hobbywing combo or esc you want in stock then they are very good products...But if you goto Brushlesshobbies.com they sell rebadged hobbywing ESC that are they exact same thing for less, all the program boxes are compatible as well as firmware..they have the 120a and 60a for around $60 and $45. Also like I have mentioned, Dualsky from CKhobbies.com Are a New up and comer With GREAT customer service and they offer a Smaller footprint compared to the hobbywing stuff, which is good if you need to save space. I believe they have am 60A 100 or 80A and a 150A esc. They are not rebadged hobbywing products so no program box or firmware it compatible but they are in the works of producing a Program box.

XC550TF. Stock software is zero timing (blinky) and offers a smaller footprint than hobbywing models as mentioned before.

Really cool regulator. if its allowed by EFRA i will definitly consider it.

Is it common to have USB link and shit on the regs now? i can dig that.
