Default LVC on Traxxas VXL brushless ESC

I'm curious if anyone else has seen this behavior,

I get good run time out of my 7.4V Lipos, however they seem to come off the ESC at 3.7-3.8v per cell.

I ran a couple new 4400mah 11.1v I picked up, and got barely 10 minutes, before the 50% power LVC kicked in. Tossed them back on the charger, and
barely got 500mah back into them.

The ESC seems a bit more sensitive to 11.1v cell voltage than the 7.4V batteries it appears to me.

I am thinking I will turn LVC off, and run a LiPo alarm I have that is set to 3.3v

Traxxas ESC's have always had LVC's that are hit and miss

Turn it off and run a $5 lipo warning buzzer

Cheers

That's the plan. The strange thing is that it really only
Affects 11.1v lipos.

I had a similar issue with my VXL3S, always cut off early on 2S, on 3S it'd cut off around 3.2v/cell.

Replaced it with a Hobbywing SC8. Didn't feel like adding a Novak Smartstop.
