antenna location
 

hi everyone,
I have just done battery mod on my D8T, where RX was originaaly located, now resides my battery. I am locating my receiver in the original battery box, do I need to have the antenna exposed, or can I leave the antenna in the batt box? I don't bash, I am involved in racing at my local track. Also so people know, I am running a SR300 spektrum receiver
