Help Please!

I cannot figure out why my sc10 keeps cogging/glitching..i have tried a differnt esc motor receiver and have unplugged servo. When you free wheel the motor it works fine when you hold it down it will glitch out..can batteries cause this?

Yes, batteries that do not have enough capability to put out the current required for the motor can and will do this. You can actually ruin batteries and other electronics if you cannot supply enough power.

It is still glitching out...and when it does you can hold full throttle and it completely stops and the is no led light on the esc.. when u let off throttle and re apply it then takes off until u let off then it repeats the problem....meanwhile motor gets VERY HOT in about a minute of run time.....help

you may have the wires plugged in wrong so its suppost to run backwards but then it was switched on the radio so it will run forward? if you get what im saying like the channel got reversed so you didnt have to change wires check that cause this happened to a buddy of mine and this was the problem. if this isnt it get back to me

What kind of ESC and motor are you running? Are you absolutely sure your wires are connected correctly? Also what gearing are you running?

well the heat is definetly coming from too low a tooth pinion gear i ran a 25 in mine with that same system back when i bough a rtr try moving to maybe a 20-22 tooth and see what that does for heat

Wouldn't a larger pinion make that motor work harder?...and when looking at esc instructions I did have motor wired right.....but still glitches....I wonder if it will after it meets my garage wall....haha!!!!:flaming:
