Mamba Max Pro & Castle Link Question

*Original question answered*

Now I can't get my computer to recognize the castle link. Going into device manager it says "This device cannot start (code 10)"

any ideas?

The six pin port is for the optional sensor that goes to the motor. For the castle link you need to use the servo connector, that is a flat female on the end of a triple wire lead.

Well I run Windows 7 at home, and xp pro at work so I took it to work and I can program it just fine from there. Oh well, as long as it works thats all I care about!

You have to install it differently in windows 7 vs. XP

Here is the instruction link.

Scroll down to castle link instructions & read #'s 4 & 5 One of them should make it work. I use & & it works fine.

Yes it can. You can turn down total power, but I never did. Punch control is junk, but the "Torque Control" is great. You have to run a test with your motor, but is worth it. It will allow you to have more control of the power.
Plus you can setup the braking and drag brake and even make curves if you so wish to do. It's a good tool to have.
