Servo position

Getting some mixed reviews if speed servo for throttle and torque for steering and then the other way around I have the 2270 and 2271 savox servos?

Torque and speed preferably for steering, but definitely more torque for steering than throttle.

I run the savox 1268 for steering and brakes with no issues....

Well I have heard it both ways I know the speed one is .06 @ 277 oz torque and the torque one is .12 @ 444oz of torque

Use the 444 for steering

Is the a benefit from doing it that way? Don't want a lot of torque for your brakes? And for the wheels to turn fast as possible?

You don't really need much torque for brakes. I prefer speed for throttle/brakes and torque for steering.

Normally anything below 330 oz on steering, particularly on a truck seems to end up failing quickly.
