Orion Vortex.......
 

........................17.5 Nearly fried my ESC right out of the box. I've been running my R10pro for a couple months now and love it. To date it's been paired with a Thunder Power motor and its been a hot combo but i really wanted to try a Vortex. Picked one up Friday night, got it soldered in and as soon as i hit the power switch my wires got hot and started to smoke. Killed the power and took the new motor out and put my TP back in and fortunately my ESC is good. Afraid to solder the Vortex back in though. Has anyone else ever run into something like this before? What did you see to tbe the issue? I've contacted Horizon to service the motor. Any input is appreciated!!
