DX3S off ebay. Keep or return? Need some help.
 

I really didn't want to start a new thread for this subject but I need a fast response if possible. As I have very limited time to decide whether or not I want to keep the DX3S. So I was bidding on a Spektrum DX3S on Fleabay, and the pic posted for the radio showed a mint condition radio with upgraded wheels, and a backlight for the screen. Also the seller noted that he had the transmitter upgraded by Spektrum from DSM to DSM2, and a SR3100 RX was included with the radio. So I paid about 142.00 after shipping. I get the radio and it has no backlight or upgraded wheel. Wheel is not a big deal, but the back light costs 65.00 plus time to install. Also the radio has a blemish on it, its not too bad but not as clean as I thought as shown in the sellers pic. Now I am an experienced buyer/seller and know what stock photo's look like and this was not a stock photo. So my question is did I over pay for the radio, is it even DSM2( how can I tell?) I didn't see an option to turn framerate time down to the 5ms like DSM2 can, it only allows me to put the radio on 16.5 ms or 11ms.
So what should I do or what would you do if you were in my situation?

Return it. Totally misrepresented. I'm not aware of a DSM2 upgrade, either. He lists no returns, but if he gives you grief file with Paypal as not accurately represented product. That'll take care of that.

I'd return it. Not what you paid for and you shouldnt be stuck with it.
