Powersupply question

http://www.cwc-group.com/sp302.html

I've got about 20 of these 300watt powersupplies sitting in my garage and I'm looking at the output ratings +3.3v @ 18amp +5v @ 15a +12v @ 20amp -12v @ 1a +5vsb @ 2amp

My question is, can I use these:lol:? It'd be nice to build my own powersupply for a Hyperion 1420i I'm thinking about picking up that runs @ 24v I'm assuming I would be a combined power with 2 of these @ 600watt @ 40amp? Which would be more then enough to charge 2s lipo 6000mah @ 5c volts X amps=watts correct??

Should be able to, as long as you can get them turned on. Won't get 300W, that's for the rails (voltages) combined. 12 volt x 20 amp = 240 watts.

Two in series for 24V would be 480W, but still 20A. Likely need to deal with one case being ungrounded.

Assuming this is written as you intended it, 5C = 30 amps, more than the 1420 can do (20A). If you meant 5 amps, no problem.

5A: 5A x 8.4V = 42 watts
20A: 20A x 8.4V = 168 watts

Don't forget the charger requires some power itself, usually safe to figure on about 80% efficient. So about 52.5 and 210 watts from the supply respectively.

Thank you.. I overlooked the 12v rail at 20 amps so 480 respectively.. I may be able to comfortably get away with one supply on hyperion 1420i for 2s charges
