Best fix is disposal. I have soldered them before but would never suggest it.

Yes it sucks but the best option is to replace them. If there is some tab left to solder to you may be able to repair them, but you had better be prepared for the consequences if things dont go right.

Dispose of that thing. What did it cost? Would it be worth that amount to injure yourself or burn your house down messing with it?
