Picking an ESC?

I am looking at purchasing a Brushless motor, and i need to know how i can pick the right ESC? because i am looking at the specks and it says the brush less motor has a max current of 108 amps... do i need a ESC that is 120 amps?

Depends on brand and what turn motor you will purchase

Your thought is correct in concept, but I wouldn’t rely just on spec sheets to pick things, for a variety of reasons. Suggest listing what vehicle you have, battery size, how you plan to use it (race or play etc), and what motor and ESC you are considering. Suspect you will get better advice that way.

i am looking on getting the Tacon 3650-8T Brushless Motor 4420KV with the eZRun-60A-SL Brushless ESC for 1/10 Car (Version 2.0) and this will be going into my speed passion rs2 for play

I will always recommend the 120A ESC for that motor, but many people including myself have used the 60A with more powerful motors and never had any issues. It really depends on how hard you push it; for most setups the 60A will be just fine, but if you are a speed demon who will push the envelope you had better get the 120A because that motor has the potential to really use alot of current.
