Soldering BEC

How can i solder the bec that comes with the GOAT3s

By the manual's standard... it says to solder it direction on the board

but it seems novak's solder is non de-solderable

i usually solder at 650F... with my hakko and it won't melt

any suggestions?

Turn your iron up. Different solder has different melting points.

I usually keep mine at 800F

They use lead free solder which has a higher melting point.

alright will try this

I heard all around that using a iron higher than 650F was pushing it too far

Guess i was wrong and so were they

You should also be using lead-free solder to make a dependable joint. We only use/sell lead-free solder; in order to ship products to the EU, we cannot use components, or solder, containing lead.
