Cracked Screen DX3S
 

I dropped my radio and cracked the lcd screen

can i replace the screen only? long shot i know, but willing to try

the radio still works properly, just cant see the left side of the lcd

any help?

have you found anywhere that sold lcd screens for the dx3s?

Mail it in, Horizon may fix it for free (they did for my just 2 weeks ago).

Horizon is the best thing to do i have a screen but it wont be cheap by the time i ship it

i finally got my act together...

here in australia i rang modelflight and they had a few there.. $30 shipped

he also sent the stickers that need removing to repair, and i bought a new case for holding the radio during transport..

will let you know how hard it is to actually carry out when it arrives.

I am almost certian I have seen screens listed on eBay before...

i have been looking for a while now... could never find one...

Nope, I was looking for well over a year. Finally ended up mailing it in to Horizon and they fixed it for free. lol. I had been using the radio with 75% of the screen for over a year for no reason. They even updated the firmware and verified all calibrations.
