DX3r issues... help!

Im having an issue with my radio. I just bound a 3rd car to my radio and I rest parameters for that channel or what I thought was that channel and now all of a sudden as soon as I plug that battery in the wheels take off full throttle and i cant turn right. This now happens to all 3 of my cars. I tried rebinding into a different channel and I get the same results. Anyone ever hear of this?

seriously... No one can help?

Sounds like the parameter reset wasn’t completed correctly. Did you fully move the controls as described in the directions? Also after the reset you will likely need to reset servos and recalibrate the speed controls, as you are basically starting from scratch if I remember correctly.

What does the Monitor screen show? Should be an indication of what the radio is trying to do.

Monitors were glitchy. No left hand steering either.

That indicates that the parameters were not reset. This area is very vague in the manual but when doing a reset not only do you reset the model but you have to reset each parameter separately.

+1
U said now all 3 cars. Why did u have to change it to start with?
Also maybe u have to reverse the motor setting from the radio.

I had gotten the radio used from someone almost a year ago and he always used 1 channel bc he had 1 car. I added my Losi 22 to channel 1, T4.1 to Channel 2 and #3 was getting my XXX4. I wanted to reset channel 3 all back to 0 before I started to configure the perimeters to fit that car. I guess I screwed it up. If i call spektrum, would they tech it with me over the phone? I asked a few guys at my track that have the spektrum and theyre all stumped. :weird: If I cant fix this by the weekend Im probably gonna dump it and get the new DX3r pro or an M11x

Try redoing the parameter reset, following the manual (pages 26-27). I suspect this important step was missed:

Rotate the steering wheel full right then full left; then move the throttle trigger to full throttle and full brake. Note: The values will change to correlate with the actual potentiometers.

After the steering and throttle/brakes have been transitioned throughout their stroke, use the roller to highlight SAVE and press the roller to save the calibration settings.

Yep, that did it. I called spektrum and they walked me thru it. Thanx! :p

Excellent, good to hear you got it. Also nice for them to walk you through it instead of the send it in ritual. :)

How does the old saying go?? "IF ALL ELSE FAILS TRY READING THE INSTRUCTIONS"!:lol:

Glad everything worked out easily for you.
