memory battery in 3PKS
 

Hi there,

I have a 6 year old 3PKS here which is still going strong. Thinking about using it for the upcoming 1/8th nitro on-road season because my 4PKs is faulty. I can turn the same laptimes with both, so I dont see the need to go for another 4PK. One question came up in my mind - is there a backup-battery in the 3PKs which could need replacement after those years or not?

I was wondering the same thing too. I have a 3PKS that has been sitting for a couple of years and now it doesn't turn on? I have kept the LiPo battery charged all the time and it still shows 80% charged but the radio won't turn on anymore. I might take it apart to see if there is an internal battery or something.
