ACE DS1015 shaking problem

Hello,

I'm very satisfied with my servo but everytime my car has no contact with the ground the servo starts shaking. I tried it with and without a CC Bec and it didn't change anything. Do you have any idea of what could cause this?

The car is a sc10 with speed passion electronics, but I had the same trouble on my converted JQ The Car brushless with Tekin electronics.

Maybe it's nervous?

Assuming your not having interference or other electrical issues,

Mine did the same thing a couple of years back. The upper part of the case had some plastic type bushings that had play. I ended up getting a new case from amain an it had what appeared to be brass bushings. It fixed tmy problem. My conclusion was that the servo was continually trying to center and due to the play it would go back and forth back and forth. It would only do this when I had weight off the wheels. If I took the wheels off it wouldnt do it at all.

This started to happen after a couple years of race use. It gradually got worse. Probably wouldn't hurt to Chang the gears while you into it. It drove perfectly fine though.

Take off the steering rod leaving only the arm on the servo. Turn your radio and receiver on and wiggle the arm a little to see how much play the gears have. If those bushing are worn it will feel like the gears are slightly worn.
