kO Helios ant. mod
 
I did a search .All it I could come up with is the ant. mod for the spectrum brand module.I have the Ko module.Can it be done to this unit?I ain't giving up my helios .It fits my hand better than any of the newer radios.I have giant hands.

I'm figuring the conversion should be similar to the Spektrum one (http://formuladrc.forumotion.com/t17...b-modification) - basically, you would need to do is fine the V+, ground and ppm signal, then route the antenna. You may need a resistor (12k) between the ppm and + pins from my understanding.

yes. it can be done with the ko 2.4ghz module.
all ya need to do is to unscrew the 2 screws at the base of the 2.4ghz module.
ko uses an expander plug to anchor the antenna, all you need to do is to use a relatively wide philips screwdriver to lift the expander plug out.
once done, the antenna could pushed out from the insider.
careful with the antenna wire though, there is a later of glue gum wrapped around it. ya probably have to cut up the plastic swivel to get the wire out.

and ya will have to drill a small hole on the pcb board to route the antenna down and into the transmitter chassis.
