futaba receivers

Im wanting to run lipos with my 4pks. Will the receiver over heat?

LiPo receiver packs for your nitro vehicle or LiPo "inside" your Tx? Dumb Q, jus wanna check to be sure...
If for receiver packs, I would not recomend it if your using the 603 series. The 604 and up will most likely be fine. I have used both the 604 and I think the newest is a 614??? with no problems. But, Futaba does not warranty them if you state that you used a LiPo Rx pack...just a heads up.

Inside the Tx is a definite no no.

I have no problems with mine running on lipo receiver packs.

The R614FF receivers are rated up to 8.4volts.

its a 604 or 614. not sure which. yeh its for the reciever battery

Dong,
If you have a 4pks, it came with the 614 Rx. As Matt stated, that Rx will support higher voltages, so Lipo or LiFe batteries can be used.
