novak gtb problem

Ok I pulled my GTB out of my SC10 to sell as a roller...worked just fine. the guy then wanted it ready to run so I put it back in.

thats when the problems started...hit the trottle and the motor just stuttered at low end then kicked in but sounded loud and didnt have all the normal rpm. I reset the throttle range and tried a differernt sensor wire no help.

I ruined my sensor wire so now I dont have one and borowed one to test. I tried to change the profile but the led lights wont work right when I hold the reset down it should cycle through but it doesnt, just get the solid red. that might be due to not having the sensor wire hooked up. I think it should program without the sensor wire.

I think its just a timming issue, and I think the esc is just shot, but maybe there is still somebody out there that is familiar with this thing.

Email [email protected] with all of your details; he can help you trouble-shoot. You can return your GTB to us for trade-in, if it is no longer operable.

Well Novak Two beat me too it!

Novak is renowned for their great service! And a great "trade in policy".

Still kicking myself in the pants for switching to Tekin, but I thought this advance timing was going to be huge only to find out everyone is reverting back to basic ESC's.

Teach me to hop on a bandwagon again! :ha:
