Savox 1268sg HV servo problem????

I tried to instal a 1268sg high voltage servo in my Associated B4 and the ESC wont initalize. If I plug the servo in after the Mamba Max Pro initalizes it goes to about 1/2 throttle and the servo still doesn't work or throttle. When I unplug it, the throttle stays for about 5 seconds the returns to neautral. I have tried 7v setting for the Castle Link. When I plug another servo in,it works fine. Any ideas?

Yea, this is really meant for high voltage usage. Meant for 1/8 scale 3 or 4s lipo batts & most ESC still need a capacitor. Its not just the voltage its also the amps needed to run it.

Ok, I just removed the red wire from the ESC and made a jumper from the battery to the reciever and it works fine. I know my reciever is guud up to 9.6volt and the transponder is even higher so it should be all good now.

Good, its a very good servo. Mine is a mg & over a yr old still like new. Do u have a metal servo arm on it? It will break plastic ones even metal ones. U should get a spare.
