I need some viper help

Are there any team drivers out there? I have a losi xxx-sct with no top end. Bottom end is fine but it falls on it's face on the straights. I had geared it about 5 teeth higher on the pinion then my novak set up and I just can't go any higher with out losing my bottom end. Thanks for the help

Sometimes over gearing will cause a loss in top end. What is your gear setup? ESC settings? Motor Turn? Is there something slipping in the diff maybe?

I'm not a team guy, but I run them in all my cars. VST motors are high torque and low RPM, so I gear them distinctly higher than other motors...

In your case, I'd drop 1-2 teeth on the pinion and give it about 2 more degrees on the end bell, then check your temps and adjust from there...

More specifics is needed to help you out. What motor, what spur gear, etc, etc. it's hard for anyone to help you out with your issues, let alone any team guys without more specifics on your needs.
