help im trying to install new esc

thanks for any advice, my 1/8 brushless esc from hobbyking will not sinc up to my motor. the orange light is just solid no motor beeps or flashing red light the manual says is there ! i can only steer nothing else

Did you calibrate your radio to the esc? Would also help to know what esc/motor/radio you're running.
