Best Motor Wire

So I'm getting a new TLR 22 in a few days and I have a question about motor wire. I'm going to be using a Tekin RS with a Novak Ballistic motor. I plan on having a couple different stators that I will be swapping in and out (a 17.5 and a 7.5 at first) so I don't think I can solder the motor straight to the esc or else I would have to de-solder every time I swapped stators. Anyways, I saw this wire on AMain:

Can you guys give me any advice on this setup? Is this good wire? Should I go 12ga or 14ga wire?

Thanks!

I only use one kind of wire, on all my cars, and that is Deans Wet Noodle. Get yourself this here,a 25 foot roll, and it will last you a while. don't worry about soldering the motor over and over, its no big deal. Mine get resoldered all the time

+1 - thats all I've ever used or needed. I started teh same way, but bought 25' rolls of black and red. Lifetime supply.....

What about the 13 gauge wire from TQWire? I've heard good things about it but is 13 gauge enough for a 7.5 Ballistic?

I'm using the TQ wire on my xxxt-cr..running an sv2 esc and a 9.5 tekin redline at the moment..worked out great today (first drive, put 2 full packs through it), and I have a cc5700kv motor on the way, plan on using the same TQ wire for that..I would thing it would b fine, castle's wires on the sidewinder esc's all use 13 gauge I believe..

I agree with what they've said. The Deans Wet Noodle is great stuff.

That said, to cut down on weight, I've been running 14ga in my 13.5 powered buggy. Even with a lot of boost the wire stays cool. The lengths of the wire are so short that I'm not worried about the increase in resistance.

I do always run 12ga to the battery though.
