what kind of wire?

When building my truck I cut the esc/motor wires to short and now have to redo them. Is there a special grade or type of wire I need to buy or will any braided wire of the same guage be ok? It is an rx8 and sc4.5.

thanks for your help

12 gauge multi stranded wire would be sufficient. You want the stranded wire for flexiblity.

You want a Quality RC grade wire, Most other wire isn't the same as what we use.

Also did You solder the Rx8 yourself ?

That's what I like to hear....And you'll be doing the same again I assume ?

Maybe sit in on the Job and watch what and how he does it. Then you'll have at least a idea of how thing's are done.

I understand the concept and how to, just suffer from lack of practice. Figured it better to practice with a plug on a $30 battery than a $200 speedo.

Just got it soldered up with Deans wet noodel wire. Thanks for the help. As a rookie it is nice to have access to such a broad source of knowledge like rc tech. Much appreciated.
