ESC question
 

I recently purchased a 3racing Sakura FGX formula car. I'm looking for an ESC that has a small footprint that can be used with brushed or brushless motors and that has a retail price of under $100.00. Does this ESC exist? Thanks.

New? Maybe one of the Chinese un-brand companies has one but I can't ever really recommend anything from them. I would look for an older LRP Sphere or SPX (i.e. LRP part# 80400) used. They can be found in your price range, are fairly compact and can do brushed and brushless.

LRP is the brand-name, Sphere or SPX is the model name. Just make sure you're getting one of the older ones that will do both types of motors. For example, the SPX Zero is only brushless, the SPX "Super Reverse" does both.
