Mamba Max Pro LVC Question..

Hello.

I was interested in changing the setting on my MMP ESC for the Low Voltage Cutoff from the default setting of (auto-lipo) which is 3v per cell to more like 3.3v-3.5v per cell.
But, i can only see an option to change it to the next size up battery to simulate a higher voltage cutoff. Would this work?
If i was using a 3s battery and set it to think it was on 4s that would simulate the LVC to be at 4v per cell. Is that a little high though?
Will i be ok if i leave it on the autolipo mode? I dont want to damage my packs.

Thanks.

Now i think i just got myself confused.

I was told that i should have my LVC set up a little more than 3v per cell. More like 3.3-3.5.

How can i achive this?

I don't have the Castle Link software in front of me but what you are trying to do will work. If I remember right you leave the cell count detection at auto. Then set the per cell cutoff to custom. Then you can set the value to whatever you want. I run my cutoff at 3.4v per cell.

Thanks.

Im gonna order up the castle field link to tune it to 3.2v per cell.

Think ill be alright for a couple of days running it on auto lipo? Its in a sc8e with a 2200kv on 3s only. If i run it hard until i hit the LVC the voltage will come back up wont it? Maybe ill just stop running it early until the field programmer gets here.

If you are using auto-lipo mode then the LVC is adjustable between 3.0 - 3.5v per cell

If not using auto-lipo mode then you can set total pack voltage to any value you like

Cheers

Thats good news. I cant do anything without the tuner though, right? I didnt see any buttons on the ESC itself.

Yea, you will be fine. Just stop running when the car starts to slow down. With lipo the voltage drop off is pretty steep so it is very noticeable when the pack is discharged.
