xbr with smart boost?

I have two xbr esc's that I bought. Well they won't work with 1 cell lipo. If I get this Smart Boost 1-Cell Li-Po Step-Up Module, is that all I need to run 1 cell lipo or do I also need a receiver pack as well. Im kind of new to this lipo/brushless stuff still. Thanks
